The Cenotaph commemorates those from the District who died in service or were killed in action in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved. It was originally unveiled to commemorate those from World War One.
The panels bear the name of 202 soldiers from Wagga and District who were killed in World War One, and also commemorates those who were killed in World War Two and the Vietnam War.
