Parkes & Districts CenotaphPrint Page
The cenotaph commemorates those from the District who have served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
It consists of five polished black granite steles inscribed with the names of Parkes and District residents who were killed in action or died in service in four major wars. In front of the steles an angled length of polished black granite carries the names of the other conflicts in which Australia has taken part.
