The Cenotaph is a white-painted concrete obelisk commemorating those who died in service or were killed in action during both World Wars and Korea.
It was originally erected to commemorate those who died in service or were killed in action in World War One, and unveiled on 25 April 1929 by the then Acting Administrator H. S. Edgar.
