Mittagong Memorial HallPrint Page
The Mittagong Memorial Hall commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
The School of Arts had its final committee meeting on the 4th August 1953 when its assets were handed over to the Council who remodelled the existing building into new council chambers, a library and the memorial hall. The foundation stone for the new Council Offices and Memorial Hall was laid on the 10th December 1954 and the hall was opened in 1955.
The building has since been modified and extended and now houses the Playhouse Performance Space and the Berrima District Historical and Family History Society.
