Forster War MemorialPrint Page
The War Memorial commemorates Australian servicemen and women who have served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
The memorial is comprised of three sandstone pillars. The centre piece displays the three armed services badges in bronze relief, surmounted by a torch and laurel wreath. The two outer connected pillars display (on both sides) the names of those from the district who enlisted for wars covering the period 1914 to 1973.
