The Cobargo & District Soldiers War Memorial was originally erected to commemorate those from the district who served in World War One. The names of those who served in World War Two, Korea and Vietnam were added at a later date.
Plans for the erection of a soldiers memorial at Cobargo have been accepted by the Memorial Committee. The cost of erection and lettering will be about £315. Sir Alexander Hore-Ruthven will formally unveil the Cobargo Soldiers memorial on November 16th. 1935
