The park commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved. The park contains the War Memorial as well as wooden sculptures which were placed to commemorate the ANZAC Centenary.

Seaspray, Plans for Memorial Park.
The committee appointed to carry on the war memorial met recently and decided to obtain plans for suitable designs for the work. It was also arranged that a series of evenings be held to help forward the movement and that inquiry be made through Mr. Hyland as to whether a grant could be obtained from the Tourist Resort Fund to improve the park on which the memorial is to be erected.
