The flagpole commemorates former students and staff of the college who served in World War One.

The flagpole also honours those who have studied or worked at the campus who have served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

Front Inscription

This flagpole was erected by the 
Roseworthy Old Collegians Association 
to commemorate the service of former 
Roseworthy Agricultural College students and staff  
        who enlisted for the 
Great War of 1914 - 1918 a century ago.

It also honours others who served their country 
in times of conflict after studying 
      or working at this Campus.
