The Avenue of pine trees commemorates 100 years of ANZAC and is dedicated those from the Mantung, Mercunda and Maggea districts who have served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

This memorial and avenue of pine trees is dedicated to all those men and women of the Mantung, Mercunda and Maggea districts who have served and fought for their country, some of whom made the ultimate sacrifice.

Unveiled by Councillor Darren Zadow as a representative of the Karoonda / East Murray District Council on behalf of Mayor Kevin Burdett, on the 25th April 2015.
