Dedication
To the glory of God,
In veneration of Saint Luke, evangelist.
And in grateful memory of the men of Augathella and District who gave their lives in two wars.
This Church was dedicated on the eighth day of June in the year of Our Lord 1957 by Reginald Archbishop of Brisbane in the thirty second year of his consecration and in the fourteenth year of his charge over this Diocese. The church replaces a church of the same title on the same site dedicated in 1896.
