The Methodist Memorial Hall commemorates those who served in World War One and World War Two and also Sergeant James Clarke who was killed in Malaya on January 22nd 1942. 

 The foundsation stone was laid on the 11th September 1953 and the hall was opened and dedicated on the 24th April 1954. 

The Forbes Methodist War Memorial Hall is now under construction, and the foundation stone will be unveiled on Friday, September 11. at 3 p m. by Mr. W. R. Glasson. of Molong. It is hoped that a large number will gather for this important occasion.
