This memorial is in honour of the men and women of the Central Western District of Queensland who served their country as members of the Australian Defence Forces

Some gave some, some gave all, some are still giving

The Ode

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

This memorial is the result of funding through Queensland Government`s Community Benefit Fund, with works supplied by the Barcaldine Regional Council and designed by Ms Kathryn O`Rourke.

Dedicated on 25th April 2017.
