The hall commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

Booringa Shire Council Meeting.
From E. Kerr, honorary secretary, Mungallala Progress Association, advising that the Progress Association passed a resolution that the Mungallala Hall and land be transferred to the Booringa Shire Council provided they build a suitable new hall and that the people of Mungallala are prepared to supply blocks for the foundation of the new hall, to furnish same and the hall to be known as the Mungallala Memorial Hall.
