Theodore Memorial RSL HallPrint Page
The hall commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
The Soldiers Hall is being repaired and lowered to 3 ft. blocks. This hall was only recently acquired by the soldiers of World War II, having previously been the property of soldiers of World War I. To raise funds to bring this hall up to standard and make it a modern building the members of the RSL held two balls, one on Friday, August 22, and the other on Saturday, August 23. Max Peters' orchestra from Bundaberg provided the music. Both balls were very well attended. On Saturday night the president of the RSL (Mr Ray Hart) appealed to the public for assistance to raise funds to improve the building. He received a number of promises to assist.
