This sculpture was erected by the Byford Progress Association in 2014.
It commemorates the servicemen who fought for their country and returned home to Byford after the First and Second World War.
Within the brick plinth you will see a number of State Bricks to recognise the importance of the Byford State Brickworks which supplied bricks to build the city of Perth from 1915.
The sculpture was created by renowned WA and international artist Len Zuks.
