Ocean Beach - Umina War MemorialPrint Page
The War Memorial is dedicated to those from Ocean Beach and Umina who have served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
The Memorial Wall was erected with funding from the Saluting Their Service Program and a New South Wales Anzac Community Grant and commemorates 100 years of ANZAC. Funding of $4681 was received in 2018 through the Armistice Centenary Grants Program to install a cast bronze compass on the memorial.
A plaque on the wall is dedicated in memory of James Morris a former councillor of Woy Woy Shire Council and president of the Woy Woy - Ettalong RSl who landed on Gallipoli on the 25th April 1915 during World War One.
