The plaques from the Frankston Memorial Hall which was erected to commemorate those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved. A commemorative plaque detailing the history of the hall was unveiled in 1988. 

The original hall was opened on June 8th 1925 in Thompson Street and new premises were purchased in 1952 in Davey Street before the hall was erected on the RSL site at Cranbourne Road on the 2nd August 1976. The site was redeveloped in 2006.

                 Foundation stone laid by the Rt. Honourable Stanley Bruce Prime Minister of Australia. 
1952        Davey Street premises purchased.
1954        Liquor Licence granted
1963        Extensions to Davey Street officially opened by Sir Dallas Brookes, Governor of Victoria. 
1973        Land at Cranbourne Road purchased 21 - 12 - 1973
1976        Memorial Hall officially opened 2 - 8 - 76 by the Hon. Sir Henry Winneke, K.C.M.G., O.B.E., K. of St. J., Q.C., Governor of Victoria.

Plaque unveiled by Mr. Stephen Walker L.M., President, Frankston R.S.L. Sub-Branch & Club, 1988.
