Funding was received in June 2016 through the Saluting Their Service Community Grants Program.

In memory of those brave men and women of the District who answered the call to serve our country at a time of war and conflict
Erected in 2017 by the Forrest & District Communities
They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old :
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
