The park commemorates those who have served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved. The park has been developed around the existing Remembrance Wall and contains dedicated areas to the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
Funding was received in June 2016 through the Saluting Their Service Community Grants Program to install commemorative plaques for the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
The World War 11 Memorial Panels were installed in the South Arm Memorial Park on the 21st June 2019. Each panel, (one for the Navy, Army and RAAF) displays photographs and statistics from Australia’s involvement in Europe & The Mediterranean and South East Asia & the Pacific area during World War 11.
