ANZAC CenotaphPrint Page
The ANZAC Cenotaph and rose garden commemorate those who died in service or were killed in action in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
Funding for the memorial was received through the ANZAC Centenary Grants Program.
About 70 people attended a dedication for the Quinns Rocks RSL’s cenotaph recently. RSL WA president Graham Edwards addressed the service and Salvation Army Major Nikki Novell said the prayers. Among the guests were RSL WA chief executive officer Phil Orchard and Peter King of the Department of Veterans Affairs. Quinns Rocks RSL president Peter Lofdahl told the Times earlier this year the cenotaph resulted from a $35,000 federal grant and would be lit up every evening.
