The garden commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
The garden received $4000 as part of the "Saluting Their Service" program to restore and upgrade the garden. The names of eleven Wahgunyah war heroes are highlighted with individual plaques which give a brief outline of the individual and their service.
