Rosemary Bush of RemembrancePrint Page
The rosemary bush was planted as a symbol of remembrance by Holocaust survivor Lucie Pollak-Langford to commemorate those who have died in service or been killed in action in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
Rosemary has been used as a symbol for remembrance during weddings, war commemorations and funerals in Europe and Australia. Mourners would throw it into graves as a symbol of remembrance for the dead.
