Boulder Roll of HonourPrint Page
The honour roll is a metal honour roll flanked by marble columns and surmounted by an ornate metal pediment. It lists the names of 258 fallen of World War One.
A temporary roll of honour containing the names of 95 men who had fallen in Gallipoli, France, Russia and Egypt was unveiled on Anzac Day 1917 by the Mayor, Mr S Beston.

Additional names were added to the temporary roll in subsequent Anzac Days until the end of the war. In 1920 the existing roll was unveiled in the Town Hall.
