Actual Monument Dedication Date:Saturday 25th August, 1984
Front Inscription

Erected as a tribute to all those mine workers who by their skill and unsurpassed work output gave the Golden Mile its world wide reputation.

This statue was unveiled by Mr. K. F. Parry President Chamber of Mines Western Australia on the 25th day of Aug 1984.
