This plaque commemorates the opening in 1916 of the Corser Bridge across the Burnett River

In 1916 in the reign of King George V Mr B. H. Corser M. L. A., opened a road bridge spanning the Burnett River at this place.

The bridge named after Mr Corser was built by the Queensland Railway Department to enable goods to cross from the southern side of the river to be brought to the railhead which was Mundubbera at that tiem.
