50th Anniversary of Adelaide - Minlaton Air MailPrint Page 
The plaque details that $2000 was donated towards the cost of the building, by the Lions Club, who raised the money at an air pageant held near Minlaton to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Adelaide to Minlaton Air Mail flight flown by Captain Harry Butler in 1919.
