Footballers MemorialPrint Page
The monument commemorates four South Australian footballers who died as teenagers.
Jake Watson, who was the nephew of former Essendon great Tim Watson and son of Richmond and Fitzroy player Larry Watson, died after collapsing during a SANFL football match in April 2002, at the age of 17.
Glenn Knott and Ben Mitchell were killed in a car accident on their way to training at West Adelaide, also in 2002.
