Daryl Pinnock Memorial Garden

This plaque commerates the action of Daryl Pinnock of Oakbank, who on 7 September 1955 aged 11 years, gave his life in attempting to rescue a drowning girl, Gaynor Farrell aged 5 years near the Grange Jetty.

This tragic event led to the formation of the Grange Surf Life Saving Club.
