Geoff Anderson & Victims of Beechcraft Air CrashPrint Page 
The memorial was erected in memory of Geoff Anderson and the men who died with him in the crash of a Beechcraft 200 Super King Air aeroplane operated by R. R. Moore & Company in August 1983.
The aeroplane was carrying oil workers, and wreckage from the aeroplane travelling from Windorah to Toowoomba in Queensland was scattered across 2 kilometres of forest south of Adavale.
The people killed in the crash were : -
Kenneth Robert Raby Moore aged 45 Pilot.
Ronald Allen Strate aged 35.
John William Duane aged 21.
Allan Raymond Vidler aged 29.
Rex Downman aged 32.
Stephen John Kirwan aged 21.
Peter Frederick Peck aged 39.
Geoffrey James Anderson aged 22.
Mark Anthony Samuels aged 33.
Colin James O'Brien aged 50.
Kenneth Harry Wetter aged 41.
Stephen Buchanan aged 25.
