The plaque was erected in memory of Ellen Law Anderson, a member of the church who died in 1939. Mrs Lawson was killed in a car accident.
MELBOURNE, Tuesday. Mrs. R. M. Anderson (66), of Elmore, was killed, Rev. G. Lawson, also of Elmore, suffered head injuries, and his wife shock when a car in which they were travelling to Melbourne today skidded in some loose gravel, hit a tree and overturned or the Heathcote-Melbourne road. about two miles from Tooborac.
