An etching located on the Great Ocean Road plaque at Cinema Point, commemorates Michael O`Brien who was tragically killed in a road accident at the site in 1995.
The plaque is a part of a series of 13 which sculptor Dr Ross Bastiaan designed for the Colac Otway and Surf Coast shire councils for the Great Ocean Road 75th anniversary celebrations.

Source: MAIn memory of Michael O`Brien MDSc, LDS, FRACOS (OMS), FDSRCSL, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon of Geelong, who tragically lost his life in a road accident on this corner on the 21st January 1995.
He is remembered with respect and affection.
