Dedication

Front Inscription

In memory of Anders Olaf Hanson.
First Sexton of this church, who died October 9th 1863
Aged 36 years.

He was a man of sincere piety, diligent labours, unbounded self denial, fervent charity, a consistent churchman, a devout communicant, a faithful Sunday School teacher.

To his worth this witness is borne, in the church which he helped to build, by the congregation which he served.

"I had rather be a door keeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of un-godliness."  Psalm LXXXIV, 10.

"Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord, from henceforth.
Yea, saith the Spirit, for they rest from their labours, and their works do follow them" Rev. XIV 13
