The plaque commemorates Christina Catherine Mary Blue, a member and organist of the church from its inception, who died in 1911.
At Christ Church, Strathalbyn, tomorrow the Chief Justice (Sir Samuel Way) will unveil a tablet which has been erected in memory of Miss Blue, who for about 25 years was connected with the church as organist. The late Dr. Blue and his wife (now Lady Way), the late Miss Blue, and Miss Maggie Cox (Mrs. Gordon), a cousin, were prominent workers for the church for many years.
