The stained glass window commemorates Canon Richard Rigby who was Rector of the Parish from 1932 to 1939.

At a meeting of Bangalow Church of England parishioners it was decided to inaugurate a fund for the purpose of placing in the church a memorial window dedicated to the late Canon Rigby. Speakers expressed appreciation of the work of Canon Rigby while at Bangalow. It was felt that the movement would meet with the full support of the people. Mr. J. Wright, of Rifle Range Road, was appointed organiser. Any members or friends wishing to assist the movement are asked to leave donations with Mr. Wright or with Mr. O. E. Smith, at the Bank of New South Wales.
