The stained glass window commemorates Margery Brenchley who was the Mission Sister at Sangara, in New Guinea,  She was beheaded by the invading Japanese forces in August 1942 during World War Two, and it is believed her body was dumped into the sea.

Margery Brenchley was a member of the parish.
