The stained glass window was erected by members of the Kyneton Congregational (Independent) Church, in memory of James Hutcheson. Mr Hutcheson, a devoted member of the church for 39 years and honorary pastor for 20 years, died in 1891.
Note: The Bluestone Theatre was the former Congregational Church. Congregationalists were also known as Independents.
