The stained glass window was erected by the parishioners in memory of Isaac Noake, a member of the Synod and Church Warden who died in 1952.

The Bishop of Newcastle (Rt. Rev. de Witt Batty) will preach and dedicate a memorial window in St. John's Church of England, Newcastle, to-morrow night. The window will be a memorial to Mr. Isaac Noake, who was a member of the congregation for 50 years. The service will begin at 7 o'clock. The Lord Mayor (Ald. Purdue) and other aldermen will represent the City Council. Ald. Purdue will read one of the lessons.
