The plaque commemorates Thomas W. Ramm who was the Rector of St. Peter`s Church from 1896 to 1920.
The subscribers to the fund raised for a presentation to the late Rev. Canon Ramm, at a meeting in St. Peter's School, Hamilton, last night, agreed that the money should be devoted towards the erection of a memorial in Sandgate cemetery and a communion table in the church, in remembrance of the late rector.
