A plaque commemorates John De Boos who was a pioneer of the church, guardian superintendent of the Sunday School and honourary lay reader, and his sister Matilda Cree who was superintendent of the Sunday School.
The Bishop of Wangaratta has paid his first official visit to this district when 60 candidates for confirmation were presented at Caniambo, Violet Town, Strathbogie and Euroa. At Euroa the Bishop unveiled a memorial tablet in St. Paul's Church, to the memory of John De Boos, the founder of the church in this district.
