Mildred Ann Manfred Plaque : August-2014

The plaque commemorates Mildred Manfred a devoted worker and faithful parishioner of the Cathedral.

News of the sudden passing in Sydney on Friday of Mrs. Mildred Ann Manfred, wife of Mr. Marsden E. Manfred M.L.C. came as a profound shock to her relatives and Goulburn district friends. St Saviour`s Cathedral parish possesses few more ardent workers than Mrs. Manfred who was never happier than when engaged in some phase of church activity. For the past 11 years she had been a teacher at St Saviour`s Sunday School, where high value was placed upon her work among the children, who gained inspiration from her Christian character and loved her for the motherly interest that she manifested in their well-being.
