The plaque commemorates Sapper Jamie Larcombe who was killed in the war in Afghanistan in 2012. The plaque contains a short history and character reference for Jamie who was a past pupil at the school.
Sapper Jamie Larcombe was an Australian Army combat engineer serving with Mentoring Task Force – Two (MTF-2). He was killed in action during an engagement with insurgents in the Mirabad Valley region of Uruzgan Province on the 19th February 2011.
