The marble plaque, unveiled by the Archbishop of Perth, commemorates Private Richard Henry Chase of the 16th Battalion, who was killed in action at Gabe Tepe, Gallipoli on April 27th 1915.
On Sunday morning the Archbishop will preach at Claremont and in the evening at the Cathedral, he will unveil a mural tablet in memory of Private Richard Henry Chase, of the 16th Battalion, 4th Brigade, A.I.F., who was killed in action at Gaba Tepe, Gallipoli, on April 27, 1915. He served with the Bechuana Land Field Forces, 1884-85, and with the 2nd W.A. Contingent and Scottish Horse in the Boer War, 1900-02.
