The stained glass window commemorates Private Ralph Ashton Lindsay who was killied in action in April 1918 in France during World War One. He was a member of the Mallala Primitive Methodist Church.
The inscription on the window states his death as 26 April 1918, but official records state his death as 25 April 1918.
