The Jamie Larcombe Memorial Recreation Centre commemorates Sapper Jamie Larcombe who was killed in the war in Afghanistan in 2012.
Sapper Jamie Larcombe was an Australian Army combat engineer serving with Mentoring Task Force – Two (MTF-2). He was killed in action during an engagement with insurgents in the Mirabad Valley region of Uruzgan Province on the 19th February 2011.
