The headstone over the grave commemorates Gunner H. J. Colbran who served in the 112th Howitzer Battery in World War One.
Mr. Harry Colbran died in the Dirranbandi hospital on November 12 from peritonitis, after an operation for appendicitis. The late Mr Colbran was employed by the Australian Pastoral Co. for a number of years. Mr. Colbran served over four years during the war. He leaves a widow and a young child.
