A stained glass window commemorates Acting Corporal. James Ranage Wright died in service during World War Two.
Corporal Wright served with distinction in Cyrenaica and Syria before his accidental death, being run over by a vehicle during the blackout of Beyrouth in 1941. He was buried in the Beirut (British) Military cemetery with full military honours.
