The stained glass window, "St. Matthew" commemorates Sergeant Roy James Hamilton who was killed in action at Tobruk in October 1942 during World War Two.

He left the proceeds of his Life Insurance to the Church and Reverend Samuel Atherton erected the window in his memory.
