The Wilkinson Block of the Ogilvie High School commemorates Flying Officer R. H. Wilkinson, who was serving with 5 Squadron, Royal Australian Air Force (R.A.A.F), when he was accidentally killed at Cryon, New South Wales in September 1942 in the crash of Wirraway A20-288.

WILKINSON BLOCK
W Block is named in memory of Mr R. H. Wilkinson who as the first boy Head Prefect in 1937. He died serving Australia as a Royal Australian Air Force officer in 1942.
