The wooden plaque commemorates Matron Miles Walker, Sister Janet Radcliff and Sister Isabel Edwards who served with the Australian Army Nursing Service in World War One. The plaque was originally located in the Memorial Rest Home for Nursing Sisters which was erected in Lindisfarne in their honour.
Matron Walker died on active service, and Sisters Radcliff and Edwards died after their return home.
