The plaque commemorates firemen, F. Henshaw and W. Owen who were killed in action in France in 1916, and R. S. Erwin who died of illness during World War One.
On Sunday, 1st inst., an additional tablet containing the names of three who made the supreme sacrifice was unveiled in the local Fire Station by Chaplain McQueen, of Caulfield. The arrangenments for the ceremony were carried out under the capable management of Mr. J. Davis.
